Dr. Kamaludin A. Sheikh (Somalia): is the CEO & cofounder of BUREQO company. He has proven experience and knowledge in applied statistics, health economics, performance assessment and financial accounting; with strong track record of research projects and published papers. Prior to his current post, he worked as assistant professor with Faculty of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Jazan University and statistician consultant with a consultancy company called ‘Total Health Information System’ in Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia. His research interests were on: behavioral economics of substance use disorders, economic costing and evaluations, decision models of cost-effective analysis, measurements of health-related quality of life (HRQL, QALY and DALY), and randomized controlled evaluations.
Sakhaudin Ahmed Mohamud, MD. MPH

Dr. Sakhaudiin Mohamud is the founder of BUREQO company. He has profound experience in population health, health disparities in immigrant health and healthcare research; with strong track record in epidemiology, preventive and evidence-based medicine. He is the board-chairman of the Somali Medical Association of America and an executive member of Somali Health Advisory Committee of Minnesota State. His current research project focus on reducing cancer screening disparities through addressing health literacy in the Somali Community. He is co-author of the COVID-19 Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for reopening Islamic Centers in Minnesota. Sakhaudiin received his medical degree from Benadir University and his specialization from University of Malaya. Currently, he is a research associate at University of Minnesota’s School of Medicine.
